Yolanda Y. Armstrong, MSSA, LSW
Yolanda Y. Armstrong, MSSA, LSW, is president and chief executive officer of BumbleBee Productions, L.L.C. located in in Cleveland, Ohio. She oversees the day-to-day operations that consist of impactful services such as Event Planning and Management, Program Evaluations, Training and Development, and Consulting Services. She has spent over thirty-three years in the social services and public administration fields strengthening her expertise in meeting the needs of nonprofit and for profit sectors. She has led many programs and implemented services in the area of juvenile justice, mental health and substance abuse, fund-raising and development, strategic planning, financial management, and led initiatives that focus on reducing the infant mortality rate among minority women, food insecurity and other emergency assistance, and workforce development, just to name a few.
Yolanda's professional journey is a testament to her dedication and commitment to social work. With a rich history of service, she has held various leadership positions at OhioGuidestone, formerly known as Berea Children's Home and Family Services, for 21 years. Her tenure as President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland and President and CEO of Phillis Wheatley Association, and Friendly Inn Settlement, Inc. further solidified her expertise in the field of Non-Profit Leadership.
She has received various awards in her 34 years in the social services field. The Making A Diff Award by the Cleveland Cavaliers and Jiff (2024), The Champion of Central Award (2021), Mt. Zion of Oakwood Village Hero of Faith Award (2018), The Women of Color Foundation Star Award (2017), Omega Psi Phi Zeta Omega Chapter Community Leader Award (2017), Non-Profit Executive of the Year Pillar Award from SMART Business Magazine and Medical Mutual and The Centennial Alumni Award from The Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University.
Ms. Armstrong is not just a leader, but also a proud member of various organizations. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Vice President of the Ohio Chapter Association of Black Social Workers, and a part of the esteemed Leadership Cleveland Class of 2024-The Best Class Ever! Her service on various Boards, including S.H.I.N.E., Greater Cleveland Drug Court, and The Women of Color Foundation, reflects her commitment to uplifting women and supporting the community.
Ms. Armstrong's academic background is a testament to her commitment to continuous learning. She earned her bachelor’s degree in health services administration from Ohio University and a master’s from The Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. Her recent achievement includes an Executive Certification in Public Administration, which she pursued while concurrently working on her Doctorate in Public Administration at Liberty University.
Yolanda's personal life is as fulfilling as her professional one. She is the proud mother of two daughters: Camarie Victoria Howell, an Ohio University alum who recently earned her master’s degree in higher education from Kent State University, and Katelyn Juanita Howell, who earned her bachelor’s degree at Spelman College, majoring in Pre-Medicine and Mandarin Chinese and is presently earning her master’s degree in public health at Ohio State University in preparation for Medical School. Ms. Armstrong is the proud wife of Retired Marine Master Sergeant Billy E. Strong and is a member of Mt. Zion Church in Oakwood Village.

Katelyn Howell
Katelyn Howell is a Public Health professional originally from Cleveland, Ohio. With an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Spelman College and a current MPH student at the Ohio State University College of Public Health, Katelyn has experience in both public health research and advocacy. As a research intern at Cleveland Clinic and Johns Hopkins, Katelyn studied various health issues like Sickle Cell Anemia, HIV, and Hepatitis-C. Currently, Katelyn works in the public health field, where she focuses on system-level changes to eliminate population-level health disparities within Ohio’s most vulnerable communities. Outside work, Katelyn enjoys being creative, creating graphic design flyers, invitations, videos, gift baskets, customized decorations and much more.

Camarie Howell
Camarie Howell is a versatile Career and Academic Advisement Professional with over five years of progressive experience in higher education, student success, and program development. With a strong foundation in student advising and a diverse skill set that spans event planning, project management, marketing, and training, Camarie creates inclusive and impactful experiences that empower students and stakeholders alike.
Currently serving at Lorain County Community College, she provides comprehensive academic and career guidance—supporting students from enrollment to graduation through tailored planning, financial aid advising, and career coaching. Her work also involves collaborating with K–12 educators and community partners to develop dual enrollment and college readiness programs, all while advancing institutional goals for retention and student success.
Camarie’s past roles at Cleveland State Global, College Now Greater Cleveland, and Oberlin College underscore her strengths in workshop facilitation, training and development, and team supervision. She has led large-scale events, managed grant-funded budgets, and used data-driven project management tools to streamline operations. Her fluency in tools like Salesforce, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office supports her ability to maintain accuracy while enhancing strategic decision-making.
A creative communicator, Camarie also leverages social media strategy and marketing to engage diverse audiences, promote programs, and amplify student voices. Whether managing international student teams or coordinating multi-campus initiatives, her leadership is marked by cultural competence, empathy, and results-driven focus.
Camarie earned her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Kent State University and her B.A. in Communications with a Diversity Certification from Ohio University. Her professional values are deeply aligned with BumbleBee Productions, LLC, where community-centered growth, inclusive innovation, and strategic impact are foundational. Camarie exemplifies the mission to elevate people and programs through intentional design, meaningful collaboration, and a commitment to equity.
